
Stephen White
Stephen is the firm's Senior Solicitor having practised in many areas of law including criminal, domestic violence, child protection, civil litigation, commercial, family law, employment law, contracts and leases, property law, and Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Stephen has had a diverse working history, being qualified as a diesel mechanic, certified welder and welding supervisor through to mechanical engineer, having worked throughout Victoria and Queensland in manufacturing, mining, chemicals and power generation - both on the tools and in senior management and advisory roles.
He has held practising certificates in both Queensland and Victoria, having represented clients throughout Australia in such diverse areas as weapons licensing disputes, disputes with cemetery trusts, and representation in victims of crime reimbursement hearings across Queensland, Victorian, Western Australian and New South Wales Courts and Tribunals.
Stephen has extensive advocacy experience, having previously acted as duty lawyer in the Queensland Criminal, Domestic Violence and Children's Courts. He is available for consultation at the Kilsyth office or representation in court including IVOs, bail applications, contested mentions and sentencing hearings.
