Lea Wright

Lea has been a Law Clerk for 35 years, beginning her career in regional Victoria in 1988.  In 1991, she moved to an eastern Melbourne suburban law firm and then to Alpass & Associates where she has worked for 16 years.

Lea has enjoyed working in various legal areas over the years including litigation, property and commercial law.  At Alpass & Associates, she has focused on Wills and Estates, literally preparing thousands of Wills and Powers of Attorney and hundreds of Estate administration applications.

In Estate Planning, her role ranges from drafting standard Wills and Powers of Attorney to more complex matters including those involving superannuation and deceased estates.  Deceased estate administration includes the probating of Wills or, where there is no Will, applications for Letters of Administration.  Her estate administration work includes redeeming assets, preparation of distribution statements and the distribution of beneficial entitlements.
