Unfair Dismissal & Employment Law Matters

If you have been unfairly dismissed you must lodge an Application for Relief within 14 days of the effective date of termination. The laws regulating many employment arrangements have changed. The majority of workplace disputes are now dealt with under the Fair Work Act 2009. Modern Awards became effective from 10th January 2010. Most Victorian workers and employers are affected by these changes. We can assist both employers and employees in regard to industrial dispute.

We also have experience in acting on behalf of employers in the area of Employment Law and particularly in the following areas:

  • Individual Common Law Employment Contracts
  • Confidentiality Agreements between employer and employees
  • Employer policies including Occupational Health and Safety, Sexual Harassment and Equal Opportunity.
